Services Provided
General Workforce provides staffing services to both job seekers and employers:
- For Job Seekers: We offer job matching services, helping candidates connect with potential employers. We review resumes, assess job preferences, and match candidates to suitable positions.
- For Employers: We provide workforce staffing solutions, matching employers with candidates for temporary staffing needs. Employers receive skilled labor, including carpenters, painters, electricians, warehouse workers, and more.
Job Seeker Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and truthful information during the application process.
- Use our services solely for job-seeking purposes.
- Keep your profile, resume, and contact information up to date.
- Notify us immediately if your contact information changes or if you are no longer looking for a position.
Employer Responsibilities
- Provide accurate details about your staffing needs, including job descriptions and required qualifications.
- Comply with all applicable employment laws, including Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) regulations.
- Pay any agreed-upon fees for staffing services in a timely manner.
No Account Creation
We do not require or allow account creation on our website. Job seekers can directly apply to job opportunities or contact us for more information about our services. Employers will engage with us directly to request staffing services.
Job Placement and No Guarantee
While we strive to match job seekers with suitable opportunities, General Workforce does not guarantee job placement. Our role is to facilitate connections between job seekers and employers, but final employment decisions are at the discretion of the employer.
Payment Terms
For employers using our staffing services, we charge fees for staffing placements. Payment terms will be outlined in separate agreements and invoices. Payments are due as specified in each contract. Failure to pay may result in termination of services.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is owned by General Workforce or licensed to us. You agree not to reproduce, modify, or distribute any content without our express written permission.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to our services if you violate these Terms of Service or engage in behavior that we deem inappropriate or unlawful. Either party may terminate services by providing notice, subject to any remaining obligations.
Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms of Service will be governed by the laws of the State of New York. Disputes will be resolved in the courts located within Queens County, New York, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of such courts.
Arbitration
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms of Service shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Queens County, New York, in accordance with the rules and procedures of a neutral arbitration service provider, chosen by both parties. You waive any right to a jury trial and agree to resolve disputes through arbitration.
Limitation of Liability
General Workforce’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless General Workforce, its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, and costs, including reasonable attorney’s fees, arising from or related to your use of our services, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any intellectual property or other rights.
Force Majeure
General Workforce will not be held liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations under these Terms of Service due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, fire, flood, pandemic, war, or government restrictions.
User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use our services for any unlawful purpose, including but not limited to:
- Submitting false information or engaging in fraudulent activity.
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations.
- Harassing, abusing, or threatening any other users or individuals.
- Interfering with or disrupting the integrity or performance of the Site or services.
